TICINO – Free open air concerts in the evening during 2 weekend: June 24th and 25th in Mendrisio Piazzale alla Valle and from June 30th to July 2nd in Lugano, Piazza Riforma.
Estival Jazz is one of the main festival from Europe and perhaps it’s the only one that offer high quality free concerts, in fact this Estival has every time led important and famous artists.
In this event there are various performances: Jazz concerts, blues, pop, soul, rock and “World Music” that will bring a different and “exotic” kind of music.
During first 30 years Estival Jazz has led a very long list of prestigious artists like: Miles Davis, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Bobby McFerrin, Keith Jarret, Herbie Hancock, Gato Barbieri, Van Morrison, Taj Mahal, Khaled, Oscar de Leon, Joe Zawinul and Youssou N’Dour.
